Passionate About Food
Kiely's Cooking is an umbrella of services including; Individually Catered home meal delivery, Chef Dan's Private Chef dinners, to Event Catering. Its two owners are Polly and Dan Kiely. Locals since 1995 and married since 2002, Dan and Polly bring a love of food, sustainability, and local pride to everything they do.
Dan Kiely has been cooking for over 30 years in restaurants, corporate settings and private catering. He has an extensive knowledge of flavor, technique and food safety. Chef Dan strives for meals that are well-balanced, beautiful to see, and make you feel good; body and soul.
Polly Kiely is a gardener who uses sustainability as her watchword. From creating her own rich compost to organic pest control to establishing a permaculture homestead, Polly has become well-versed in edible flowers, annual and perennial fruits, vegetables and herbs. She credits her love of baking to her mother, who bakes the best pies in Hornell, NY.
Together, they preserve and pickle, sow and harvest, and love to entertain.
